KITCHEN PREP & PACKAGING
We need your help prepping fruits, veggies, meats, and other tasks around the kitchen! With the mass amounts of meals being prepared daily, we need as many hands on deck as we can get to help ensure we continue to meet the needs in our community!

Once meals are cooked and ready to go we need help packing the meals up so they can be sent out!
FOOD TRUCK EVENTS
Take on serving the community with our famous food truck, Babs! Bracken's Kitchen partners with some amazing organizations to feed kids and families in their communities. We will typically travel to low-income residential and housing locations through out Orange County with everything need to bring a delicious hot meal! Your duties will include serving prepared meals, distributing drinks, salads, desserts, and helping with distribution for our guests. But most importantly, to have fun meeting amazing families and kids! You are a light!
AIRWAY SHELTER
Bracken's Kitchen has started direct meal service at Costa Mesa Bridge Shelter, in collaboration with the City of Costa Mesa and Mercy House. A BK chef will prepare meals on site and serve directly to residents at the shelter for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist our chef in light prep work, serving food to residents and clean up. A total of two volunteers will be needed per meal shift.
YOU CAN HELP US "FEED THE NEED" IN A VARIETY OF WAYS
Bracken's Kitchen provides meals every week to organizations such as Illumination Foundation, South County Outreach, American Family Housing, and various other charities to feed families in need of healthy and nutritious meals. If you are interested in volunteering with us, then please register as a volunteer and you'll be able to sign up for our current opportunities.

Our Three T's!

There are three main ways you can help us at any time. Bill Bracken likes to call them the 3 T's:
Time, Talent or Treasure.

Time: Taking the time out of your day to volunteer with us through one of our opportunities, sharing our posts on social media, or even talking to friends and family is helping us with your time. We look forward to relaunching our volunteer program and its' exciting new volunteer ventures so please register with us for future volunteer opportunities!

Talent: Volunteering doesn't always mean that you are in the kitchen with us, prepping and cooking meals, or serving on the food truck. Do you have a skill or passion that you feel would benefit our organization? It can mean you are helping out in the office, a photographer who wants to give back, or even an I.T. wiz who can help us with pesky computer issues. Treasure: While are extremely fortunate to have so many helping hands throughout this time. There have been a lot of changes in our organization and with those changes arises new expenses. If you aren't able to help in another way, donations are always immensely appreciated. ​
