LA Fire Meal Response
In response to the recent crisis, we have been working closely with Food 4 Less in the city of Alta Dena to bring a warm meal every day.
We are committed to 400 meals for lunch to anyone who has been impacted by the fires, to first responders and firefighters and anyone else that is need of a warm, nutritious meal.
SIGN UP IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in coming out to help pass out meals with Babs, our food truck.
FEED THE NEED
It is estimated that more than 500,000 Orange County residents are food insecure, which means that they are consistently forced to choose between food and other life necessities on a regular basis. We are blessed to be able to rescue thousands of pounds of food diverted from landfills and re-purpose it into healthy, delicious meals for our friends and neighbors in need. Additionally, our culinary training program offers students a hand-up and out of poverty.
The fact remains that we would not be able to feed as many people as we’ve been able to over the past ten years without your support. We work hard to be responsible stewards of your gifts. Last year we provided just under 2 million meals because of generous people like you.
